To clean your high efficiency washing machine turn the water setting to hot and if your washing machine has the option "Select Extra Rinse" and then add 3/4 cup of white vinegar to the bleach dispenser of the washing machine.
You can also use non chlorinated bleach if you don't have vinegar and then start the washing machine and let it run through a full cycle without any clothes.
