All babies are different so it can vary from baby to baby but most babies during the first 6 weeks can have up to 4 or 5 bowel movements per day while others may only poop once per day during the first 6 weeks of their life.

After 6 weeks of age it's normal that some babies may not poop everyday and they may only have a bowel movement once per week which is very normal and nothing to be worried about and it doesn't mean that your baby is constipated.

As long as your babies stools are not hard and dry then the baby isn't constipated and there's no need to worry.
