Can you get rabies by being licked?

If you get licked by an animal that has rabies can the rabies be transmitted to the human through licking?

You can get rabies from an animal by being licked but only if the animal licks a part of your skin where you have raw skin or an open sore.

If they just lick your skin without you having an open sore or raw skin then it's not possible for you to get rabies from the animal licking you.
