Your Great Danes eyes are red due to a condition called ectropion which leads to the redness in the Great Danes eyes and red mucous membrane below the eyeball as well as droopy eyelids.

Great Danes have droopy eyes as a result of a hereditary condition called ectropion which causes droopy eyelids and loose and lax skin.

Droopy eyes in Great Danes and other dogs can also be caused by inflammation, eye infection and corneal injury.
