How often does AWSTATS update the traffic stats?

How often are the AWSTATS website traffic stats in cpanel updated?

I believe that the AWSTATS updates once every 24 hours on it's own.

However there is a link in the AWSTATS that will allow you to update the stats whenever you want.

So if you want to see the traffic stats for your website at anytime then just click on the link at the top of the page where it says when the stats were last updated.
