Is living near high voltage power lines safe?

I'm looking at houses and I've found one I like. But its near high voltage power lines.

Is it safe to live near these?

I've heard that living near those lines are dangerous and cancer causing. But to be honest, you could get cancer from just about anything else.

If you love the house then I would say go for it.

There's power lines and radiation everywhere in the world now.

I don't see much need of worrying if it's safe or not. After all no matter how much you protect your health we're all gonna be dying one day anyway.

Our house is near high voltage power lines and I've lived her since I was born. Which would be 16 years.

Have not gotten sick or anything from it.
