The symptoms of a spider bite on humans are.

    Redness, pain and swelling.
    Cramping.
    Nausea, vomiting, tremors or sweating.

Most often spider bites appear like any other bug bite with a red, inflamed, sometimes itchy or painful bump on your skin and may even go unnoticed.

Harmless spider bites usually don't produce any other symptoms.

Sometimes, you can see 2 fang marks at the bite site.

Severe muscle cramps (especially stomach cramps) occur within 1 to 6 hours.

These last 24 to 48 hours.

In some cases you may experience other symptoms after a spider bite which include.

    Difficulty breathing.
    Droopy or swollen eyes.
    Headache.
    Increased saliva production.
    Nausea and vomiting.
Painful muscle cramps and stiffness in the stomach, shoulders, chest and back.
    Profuse sweating.
    Itchy skin rash.

You should seek medical attention for a spider bite if there is a worsening local reaction for more than 24 hours, redness spreading away from the bite, drainage from the bite, increased pain, numbness/tingling, a halo or bull's eye discoloration around the bite, or an allergic reaction (rare).

Signs of being bitten by a poisonous spider include.

    Itching or rash.
Pain radiating from the site of the bite.
    Muscle pain or cramping.
Reddish to purplish color or blister.
    Increased sweating.
    Difficulty breathing.
    Headache.
    Nausea and vomiting.
