I was at Walgreens today buying Huggies little movers size 7 and the cashier asked me how the potty training is going and I told her please don't ask and I told her that my son is getting to old for this and she told me that kids need a lot of encouraging and praise them because its embarrassing to a kid and I said I know and she told me she understands because she had to be potty trained then repotty trained and I told her that I didn't potty train untill I was 5 then when I was 7 I peed my pants at daycare and had to wear pampers diapers until I was 9 then when I was 11 I had to wear goodnites for boys because I wet the bed for almost a year what a weird conversation but it got me to thinking about it and I went back and bought my son some pull-ups goodnites for boys size XL hopefully this will help best cashier I ever had and I don't mean to embarrass the cashier at Walgreens about potty training as a kid but I hope stories like this help my son

I had a discussion similar at Dollar General with a cashier.

A few months ago I was shopping in a new Dollar General that opened up back in December of 2021.

This cashier who was 18 was ringing by items up.

He then noticed the Dollar General Gentle Steps size 7 diapers I had put up on the counter for him to ring up.

He said you have a kid who wets the bed or an older kid who is not potty training?

I don't but I said yes I have a boy and he wets the bed and said he was 8 years old.

He said that his little brother wears the Dollar General Gentle Steps size 7 for bed wetting also.

Then he got to discussing how his mom tried some pull ups and Goodnites on his brother and they would leak.

So he said that he bought a pack of the Dollar General Gentle Steps size 7 diapers for his brother to try on.

His brother was reluctant at first but decided to try them and they hold up really well for his heavy wetting.

He discussed how he too used to wet the bed and finally stopped at 17.

He only had the pull ups and they leaked on him and said that if these Gentle Steps diapers were available he would've worn them himself for bed wetting until he couldn't fit into them anymore.

They of course don't fit me without modification but I do love them as they are very squishy when wet and are fun to wear.
