Some kids simply are not ready to potty train as early as other kids are and boys often take longer to potty train than girls do.

If you wait until the child is 3 or at least close to 3 years old the kid will often potty train much faster than they would if you had started potty trained at 2 or younger.

For a child to actually potty train, they need to be able to recognize when they need to go, pull up and down their pants and make it to the toilet successfully.

If the child or toddler still has to be taken to the toilet and is wetting or pooping their pants constantly or very often, then they really are not ready.

Once a child is ready to potty train, then they should potty train within 3 days to a few weeks or a month at most with very little accidents.

My kids potty trained around 3 and 3 and 1/2 and one of my kids didn't potty train until he was 5 and I never forced the issue.

There's no age that a child is too old for diapers as diapers are made for all ages and if the child needs to wear diapers they should wear the diapers no matter the child's age.

Although most kids should ideally be out of diapers during the daytime by age 3 to 3 and 1/2.

But some kids may need diapers and not potty train until age 4 to 7 years old, especially if they have health issues like autism that prevents them from potty training.

Normally kids are out of diapers by 2 to 3 years old, but some can take as long as 4 years old and even 5 years old.

It's usually not a concern on potty training if the kid is still in diapers until they are at least over 4 years old.

Kids develop at their own pace and potty train at their own pace and when a kid is ready to potty train, most kids will eventually potty train.

For infants I would recommend using Pampers Swaddlers, which many hospitals use.

They are a bit more expensive, but well worth it.

If you need a cheaper diaper for your infant, Parents Choice diapers or even Luvs diapers are also great.

Amazon Mamma Bear Diapers and Coterie diapers are also good for infants.

Although I mainly used Pampers Swaddlers on my kids when they were infants and they worked really well.

As they got older I switched to Luvs to save money and the Luvs diapers also held up really good as they grew.

Even having less than 6 wet diapers per day in 2 year old's can sometimes be a sign that your 2 year old may be somewhat dehydrated.

To tickle your kid easily without having to bend down all the time, you can try snuggling in bed with them and then try tickling your kid with your foot.

Or even use a feather on a stick if you have one as feathers make good ticklers.

I remember when I was little, my dad would always come up behind me with a feather on a long stick, while he stood behind a doorway or he would be hiding behind a curtain and then tickle me with that feather.

I always loved it and he was such a great dad to me.

You could also sit down on the bed or couch with your kid and tickle them that way, without bending down.

Or while sitting on a couch, you could use your feet to tickle your kids tummy or their ribs as the kid walks by or lay on the floor.

You could even lightly shake your foot on your kids stomach, while your kid lies down, which is similar to that of a vibrating motion.

Or use the bucking bronco method for tickling your kid.

To use the bucking bronco tickling method for your kid, sit down and place your kid on your lap or your knees for a ride and then tickle your kid as they buck like a bronco.

My dad used to do that to me as well and it was really fun and I always looked forward to it.

My local Dollar General has gentle steps size 6 diapers, although they are also often low in stock on them and sometimes have been out of stock of the gentle steps size 6 diapers for a few weeks.

Gentle steps also went through a redesign of their diapers and made them thinner and less absorbent now, as they used to be a really good diaper that held a lot of pee an would swell up.

My 6 year old son wears a size 7 diaper and he used to wear the size 7 Gentle steps diapers when they were better and more absorbent, although they started leaking on him now.

Then our dollar general started stocking cuties size 7, which were nearly identical to the old Gentle Steps size 7 diaper, and hold more.

But even now the dollar store here is getting low in stock on those as well.

It could be that they just are not getting the shipments in ore their system is not ordering more of f the gentle steps size 6 diapers or other brands.

Luvs size 6 diapers are actually better than the gentle steps diapers they have now.

Luvs also makes a size 7 and size 8 diaper as well for fitting older kids.
