Bed wetting in kids in teenagers is normal and is often caused by genetics, hormonal imbalances, deep sleep patterns and a delay in physical development.

Sometimes a kids or teens bladder may not be growing as fast as it should, which means that the kid or teen cannot hold their urine in through the night as the bladder fills up too fast and then causes them to release the urine involuntarily at night.

Most kids and teens outgrow bed wetting naturally, although in some cases, bed wetting can be a sign of stress, constipation or urinary tract infection.

But most cases of bed wetting are nothing to worry about and resolve on their own.

Many children that wet the bed are also very heavy sleepers and as a result the child's brain fails to register the nerve signals from a full bladder so that they don't wake up in time and in turn they wet the bed instead.

The body also produces a hormone naturally called vasopressin or ADH at night, which is what signals the kidneys to slow down urine production at night.

But some kids don't produce enough of the vasopressin hormone, which results in an overproduction of urine overnight that the bladder cannot hold.

A child's bladder can also simply be too small to hold the volume of urine or pee that is produced while the child or teen sleeps, or their bladder muscles can be overactive.

Bed Wetting also runs strongly in families and if both parents wet the bed as children themselves, then their child or children also have a 70 percent chance of being a bed wetter as well.

And because the bladder and bowels are located next to each other, a backed up bowel and constipation can place physical pressure on the bladder and result in a loss of bladder control at night and lead to bed wetting.

Kids should also wear diapers or pull ups for bed wetting.

Bed wetting occurs in many kids and even teens and diapers make sleeping much more comfortable and also keep the kids and teens clothes and bed dry from wetting the bed.

It's worse to wake up in a soaking wet bed, when a diaper can help contain the pee and help the kid or teen get a good nights sleep.

Some kids who wet the bed may need to wear regular tape on diapers, like Luvs, Pampers, Huggies, Parents choice size 8 diapers etc.

And some kids may only need to wear bed wetting pull ups like Goodnites bed wetting pull ups or even regular pull ups if they fit into them.

Diapers don't make bed wetting worse, as bed wetting is not something a child can control and eventually they will outgrow it, but until the child outgrows bed wetting, it's best for the child to wear diapers.

It's normal for boys to wet the bed until age 17.
I myself wet the bed until I was 17 and had wet the bed from potty training and until a little after my 17th birthday.

I saw the doctor about the bed wetting when I was 7 and the doctor said that it was just normal and that I would eventually outgrow it.

I wore diapers for the bed wetting until I finally stopped wetting the bed.

My parents had me wear those old thick pampers diapers until I was around 10 years old.

Then we switched to the larger diapers after I couldn't fit in the toddler sized diapers anymore.

Then I wore adult sized taped on diapers until I stopped wetting the bed a little after 17.

If I remember correctly the bed wetting stopped in myself around a week or two after my 17th birthday and to me that was the best birthday present I could get, even if it happened later.

Bed wetting is normal and some kids may stop wetting the bed sooner than others and some kids may never wet the bed after potty training.

But although it's embarrassing, many kids and teens and even some adults wet the bed.

Luvs size 8 diapers should easily fit a 7 year old boy as I wear Luvs size 8 diapers full time and I'm 10 years old.

My 6 year old brother also wears Luvs size 6 full time and so Luvs size 8 should fit a 7 year old boy just fine.

I'm 10 years old and a boy and my mom puts me in Luvs size 8 diapers for road trips and I love wearing diapers.

I wear diapers all the time and so does my 6 year old brother.

My 6 year old brother wears Luvs size 6 diapers and I wear Luvs size 8 diapers.

Me and my brother both love wearing diapers and we both wet the bed and wear Luvs diapers for bed wetting as well.

So we asked our parents if we could stay in diapers all the time and they agreed and so now we are in diapers full time again.

We're going on a 500 mile road trip this summer and me and my brother will both be wearing our Luvs diapers and getting them changed on the road trip in our Van.

We also live in a rural area and me and my 6 year old brother also go outside and play on the swings and play in the yard wearing just our Luvs diapers and sometimes a diaper, shirt and shoes.

Running through the sprinkler in just our diapers also is a fun time.

Tape on diapers are much better than Goodnites and other pull up style diapers or pull ups for bed wetting in older kids.

Tape on diapers can be fit more snugly and help reduce gaps in the legs as well and tape on diapers are better at containing the urine than pull up style diapers or Goodnites and are also more absorbent.

My 6 year old son wears size 8 Parents Choice diapers for bed wetting and they fit him just fine with room to grow.

I would expect my 6 year old son to be able to wear a size 8 Parents Choice diaper or other size 8 diaper until at least 10 to 12.

My 7 year old nephew wets the bed and wears Huggies Snug and Dry size 7 diapers and they fit him just fine.

Size 8 diapers can also fit most 7 year old boys, if the size 7 diapers don't fit.

Parents Choice from Walmart also makes a size 8 Parents Choice diaper that can be bought in Walmart stores and they are sized to fit older kids including 7 to 8 year olds.

Even some 10 to 13 year olds may be able to fit into Parents Choice size 8 diapers and other size 8 diapers.

Luvs and Pampers also comes in a size 8 diaper as well.

Even Pampers Swaddlers has size 7 diapers and size 8 diapers.
