Answered: What happened to Yahoo Answers?

Yahoo Answers was closed down on May 4th 2021.

Yahoo decided to close down the Yahoo Answers website because it was becoming overrun by trolls and the answers quality and engagement were declining.

They decided that Yahoo Answers was not worth keeping as it was not profitable for them anymore.

I used to visit Yahoo answers but stopped going their too much around 2017 and preferred to go to Quora, Reddit or even this website.

I do have to agree with Yahoo though that Yahoo Answers was declining and I too would've probably shut it down or at least left it as a read only site.

Answered: Is yahoo email case sensitive?

The domain name part such as youremail@yahoo.com is not case sensitive so it doesn't matter if you use uppercase or lower case letters in the email address.

The domain part of the email address would be case insensitive but for the password to the yahoo email account that would be case sensitive and you need to make sure that you enter the password to the yahoo email account correctly.

If you can't remember the yahoo email account password then you can reset the password by verifying some information.

Answered: Is the Yahoo Mail password case sensitive?

Yes all yahoo email address account passwords are case sensitive.

So if you're trying to enter your password but are getting an error message stating password is wrong then make sure you're typing in the letters in correctly so if your password is HI9oYGG make sure the letters are correct because if you type an uppercase letter where a lower case letter should be then the password would be wrong.

Answered: Are yahoo email addresses case sensitive?

The domain part of the email address in this case yahoo.com would not be case sensitive.

However the username part youremail@yahoo.com "the first part before the @ symbol would be case sensitive and needs to be typed in correctly.

Answered: Does yahoo have a customer service number?

No. Yahoo doesn't have a customer support number so if you see a customer support number claiming to be yahoo customer support then they're not yahoo and you shouldn't call the number as it's somebody trying to get your yahoo information.

You can contact yahoo customer support through email though.

They have a support forum you can contact them through as well. https://forums.yahoo.net/t5/Yahoo-Help-Community/ct-p/english
