To get out of a hot bed you should use a fan to blow air on you to help you stay cool.

If you have an air conditioner to keep your room cooled down then that can also help as it's much better to sleep in a cool air conditioned room than it is to sleep in a hot room.

The heat can also make it hard to sleep so you will be tired when you wake up.

Sleep with a fan on as well as the fan can help keep you cool.

To wake up at 4am in the winter set your heating to turn on a few hours before 4am so that your room and house gets warmed up.

It's easier to get up in a warm house and warm room than it is to get up in a chilly room and house.

Also set the alarm and put it away from your bed so you physically have to get up to turn it off.

A good way to make yourself get out of bed is to set an alarm clock in your room but put the alarm clock out of reach of your bed.

This way when your alarm clock goes off you have to physically get up to turn it off instead of just reaching over to the nightstand and turning it off.

I did this myself and it helped me get out of bed and I would stay up after I got the alarm clock turned off.

Before I would hit the button and go back to sleep.

But since I had to get up and walk to the alarm clock I didn't just go back to bed.

I then would wash my face with some warm water to help me further wake up.

As soon as you wake up after a night of sleep, you should get out of bed.

If you lie awake in bed, your brain links being awake to being in bed.

I have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning myself and some of the problem is lack of sunlight in the morning and some of the reason is because my room is a bit drafty and chilly and so I want to stay under my warm blanket.

I have my furnace thermostat set to warm the house up a few hours before I wake up because although I sleep better when it's a bit chilly I cannot get up and out of my warm blanket when I'm shivering a bit.
