In some people Lisinopril can cause weight gain because in some people taking Lisinopril can increase a persons appetite which makes them eat more and then they gain more weight.

However some people lose weight when taking Lisinopril and have a decrease in appetite.

The dangers of taking Lisinopril are pretty low but some people may experience side effects or interactions with other medications.

Some side effects of taking Lisinopril are.

You should not just stop taking Lisinopril without consulting with your doctor first.

Lisinopril can cause you to urinate more because lisinopril is also a diuretic due to the Hydrochlorothiazide which is a water pill which helps your body get rid of salt and water.

Fluid retention is possible when taking lisinopril as well as other side effects of lisinopril which include abrupt swelling of your face, arms, legs, lips, tongue, throat, and intestines which can be fatal if not treated.

The blood pressure medicine lisinopril is pretty strong and most people take a dosage of only 2.5 mg to 10 mg once per day of lisinopril for treating their high blood pressure and heart disease.

However the dosage of lisinopril may be increased gradually over a few weeks to a usual dose of: 20mg once a day for high blood pressure (the maximum dose is 80mg once a day) 10mg once a day after a recent heart attack.

Lisinopril is also available combined with another blood pressure medicine called hydrochlorothiazide.

The first drug of choice for hypertension is thiazide diuretics followed by Losartan and Lisinopril.

The most popular medication for high blood pressure is Losartan as well as the ACE inhibitor lisinopril (Prinivil, Zestril) and amlodipine besylate (Norvasc), a calcium channel blocker, and generic hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ).

The best way to get off of your blood pressure medicine is to get your blood pressure lowered naturally.

You can help lower your blood pressure naturally by changing your diet, exercising, drinking some apple cider vinegar, reducing stress and anxiety and eating other foods that can help lower your blood pressure which include foods such as Broccoli, spinach, carrots, melons, avocados, tomatoes, oranges, bananas, squash and potatoes.

Losartan is a good blood pressure medicine and it's use can help prevent strokes, heart attacks and other heart failure.

A normal blood pressure reading should be around 120/80 but 135/85 blood pressure reading can be normal depending the person who has that blood pressure.

For some people 135/85 is a high reading and is getting near hypertension and it all depends on the person.

When blood pressure gets to 140 systolic or above then that's when a person should really worry especially if the blood pressure doesn't go down on it's own.

Having too high of blood pressure can damage blood vessels and increases a persons risk for coronary heart disease, stroke, heart attack and death from those health problems.

Try taking a 15 to 20 minute walk when your blood pressure goes up as walking helps to lower blood pressure and is healthy for your body in other ways as well.

You can also lower your blood pressure using Apple Cider Vinegar mixed in with water, lemon juice and organic honey or you can just take a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar once or twice per day to lower your blood pressure.

But if your blood pressure continues to rise or doesn't go down then you might need to see your doctor to get on blood pressure medicine which regulates your blood pressure and keeps the blood pressure at a healthy level.

My blood pressure reading normally is around 135/85 and I was concerned but my doctor said for me it was normal but if it got above 135 over 85 then I should start lowering it or see the doctor again about it.

My blood pressure used to be lower than 135 over 85 which is why I was concerned but the doctor said not to worry until it got in the 140 range which can be hypertension.

If your blood pressure reading is normally in the 120/80 range and it spikes to 135 over 85 then it could mean that you're getting into pre hypertension.

But a blood pressure of 135 over 85 is not too high to be alarming but if your blood pressure is normally not that high then bringing it down is a good idea.

You can drink a little Apple Cider Vinegar to bring your blood pressure down naturally.

If the blood pressure gets over 135 over 85 then it could be hypertension and needs to be brought down before it causes any problems.
