A golden Oreo is a yellow colored or Golden Colored Oreo Cookie that is Vanilla Flavored.

Golden Oreo's are a nice vanilla flavor cookie with the familiar sweet cream center.

If you are familiar with the chocolate ones, these Golden Oreo's are very similar, just not chocolate.

Oreo used to use Hershey Chocolate in their cookies but now Oreo hardly uses any real chocolate or any Hershey Chocolate at all.

Oreo cookies do contain a small amount of real chocolate although most of the chocolate used in Oreo Cookies is fake chocolate or Cocoa Powder.

The bottom line is there's only a small amount of real chocolate in Oreo cookies.

The Oreo products have a large amount of cocoa, which is usually processed with alkali.

This removes the characteristic chocolate notes in the cookies.

Oreo's or Oreo cookies do not have any eggs in the ingredients.

The ingredients of Oreo's include unbleached enriched flour, sugar, palm and/or canola oil, cocoa powder, high fructose corn syrup, leavening, corn starch, salt, soy lecithin, vanillin, and unsweetened chocolate.

Cookies and Cream is basically the same as Oreo.

Oreo is a brand name of a cream cookie.

However cookies and cream can also be cookies and cream ice cream and not just cookies.

Oreo cookies are actually an imitation cookie of the original Hydrox Cookie.

You can still buy Hydrox Cream Filled Cookies.

Hydrox is the brand name for a cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookie currently owned and manufactured by Leaf Brands.

It debuted in the United States in 1908, and was manufactured by Sunshine Biscuits for over 90 years.

In 1912 when Oreos hit grocery store shelves, they were actually the second chocolate sandwich cookie to do so, because Hydrox cookies debuted in 1908.

The latter was manufactured by Sunshine Biscuits, while Oreos were and still are manufactured by Nabisco.

The Hydrox cookie is more crunchy with a stronger chocolate taste, while Oreo cookies are a little more crumbly but with more sweetness.

The Hydrox name came from combining the words hydrogen and oxygen, which Sunshine executives thought evoked purity.

Others thought it sounded more like a laundry detergent.”
