Churros are soft but not too doughy inside.

A good churro should be light and pillowy inside and crunchy on the outside.

If the oil is too hot, the churros will immediately puff up too much, cook only on the outside, leaving the insides raw and doughy.

If it's not hot enough, they'll take forever to cook and harden as they cool.

Churros are a type of fried dough from Spanish and Portuguese cuisine.

And Churros are also found in Latin American cuisine and the cuisine of the Philippines and in other areas that have received immigration from Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries, especially in the Southwestern United States and France.

Mexico and Spain is where Churros originated from.

Churros are served hot although you can eat them without heating them up or eat them cold if you prefer.

Churros originate in Spain and Portugal, but made their way to Mexico and other former Spanish colonies and settlements as well.

Spanish churros are coated in sugar and served with a thick dipping chocolate.

Although the calories are not too bad in Churros, it lacks nutritious value.

Therefore it's recommended you should eat only one or two of them and only in moderation.

Spanish Churros are simply fried dough, very similar to the American version of a doughnut.

Churros taste like cinnamon doughnuts, but BETTER because you've got crispy ridges.

The inside of a churro is fluffy like a doughnut and they are at their prime freshly made, but they reheat exceptionally well too making them a great make ahead for parties!
