The weakest acid is Hydrofluoric Acid.

Hydrofluoric acid is the only weak acid produced by a reaction between hydrogen and halogen (HF).

Acetic Acid is also another weak acid.

Acetic acid (CH3COOH), which is contained in vinegar, and oxalic acid (H2C2O4), which is present in some vegetables, are examples of weak acids.

Acetic Acid is used for a variety of things such as the manufacture of acetic anhydride, cellulose acetate, vinyl acetate monomer, acetic esters, chloracetic acid, plastics, dyes, insecticides, photographic chemicals, and rubber.

Acetic acid, systematically named ethanoic acid, is an acidic, colorless liquid and organic compound with the chemical formula CH₃COOH.

Vinegar is no less than 4% acetic acid by volume, making acetic acid the main component of vinegar apart from water and other trace elements.

Acetic acid is a byproduct of fermentation, and gives vinegar its characteristic odor.

Acetic acid is used in the manufacture of acetic anhydride, cellulose acetate, vinyl acetate monomer, acetic esters, chloracetic acid, plastics, dyes, insecticides, photographic chemicals, and rubber.

Acetic acid (CH3COOH), also called ethanoic acid, the most important of the carboxylic acids.

A dilute (approximately 5 percent by volume) solution of acetic acid produced by fermentation and oxidation of natural carbohydrates is called vinegar; a salt, ester, or acylal of acetic acid is called acetate.

In vapor form, acetic acid is a severe irritant of the eyes, mucous membranes, upper respiratory tract, and skin.

In contact with the skin or eyes, acetic acid solutions of 80% or more can be corrosive, causing severe burns of any exposed tissue.

Acetic acid is produced naturally when excreted by certain bacteria such as Acetobacter genus and Clostridium acetobutylicum.

These bacteria are found in foodstuffs, water, and soil.

Acetic acid is also produced naturally when fruits and other foods spoil.

Several studies in animals and humans have found that acetic acid and apple cider vinegar may promote fat burning and weight loss, decrease blood sugar levels, increase insulin sensitivity, and improve cholesterol levels ( 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 ).
