Most ear infections last between 3 days to 7 days before they go away.

However in some cases the ear infection may last as long as 14 days but if the ear infection gets worse or does not go away within 14 days you should see a doctor.

An ear infection will usually go away on it's own.

Minor ear infections usually require no medical treatment and if the ear infection is not very serious the symptoms of the ear infection should improve and go away within 3 days.

If the ear infection does not begin clearing up within 3 days or the ear infection seems to get worse then you should see a doctor.
