The diaper industry for both disposable baby diapers and adult diapers is worth around 70 billion dollars and is expected to be worth even more by 2028.

Operating a diaper manufacturing business can be very profitable as diapers are selling all the time and will continue selling for as long as people continue having babies.

The value of the baby diaper market was estimated to be worth approximately 70.2 billion U.S. dollars worldwide by 2028.

This is an increase of just under 20 billion U.S. dollars over the 12 year forecast period.

The product driving the industry is the disposable baby diaper, holding around 65 percent of the global market.

Biodegradable diapers had the lowest market share at around 3.5 percent.

Who are the key players contributing to the size of the market?

Procter & Gamble (P&G), Kimberly-Clark and Johnson & Johnson are the leading companies in the global baby care market.

Procter & Gamble's market share of disposable baby diapers, baby wipes and training pants worldwide is expected to remain fairly constant over the coming years at around 18 percent.

Kimberly-Clark’s share of baby diapers globally experienced a drop in the years preceding 2020.

However, their market share was forecast to pick up in the early 2020s.

Johnson & Johnson’s total baby care market share is predicted to drop in the next few years to 17.9 percent by 2021.

Selling baby diapers can be profitable.

Babies will always need diapers and parents are always buying disposable baby diapers as well as cloth diapers.

The disposable baby diapers are more profitable than selling cloth diapers but you can profit both ways.

I actually do profit some by going to places such as Costco, Sams Club etc and buying baby diapers such as Pampers, Huggies etc in bulk.

Then I go online and sell them on Amazon and through Ebay.

I can actually make between $10.00 to $20.00 profit on boxes of diapers.

For example if I paid $40.00 for a box of Pampers I could sell those diapers for $70.00 and make a profit even with shipping.

Some people who are well off financially don't care what they pay for the diapers and will buy them even if it's cheaper in store.

A diaper making business can also be profitable as well but you need money to buy the diaper making machines and a building to put it.

But diapers will always be in demand both diapers for babies and adult diapers as well.
