Ice cream is fattening and eating ice cream every night can make you fat.

However simply eating ice cream at night as long as you don't do it every night will not make you fat.

Some people eat ice cream at night every night and even during the day everyday or at least nearly everyday and then they gain a lot of weight.

Ice cream is a favorite dessert that we usually love to eat before sleep.

A bowl full of ice-cream can be tempting but the sugar present in it may hamper your sleep later.

It has a lot of fat and even low-fat ice-creams can be high in sugar that can take time to digest.

Most commercially made ice cream is high in sugar and fat.

Additionally, because ice cream is often eaten as a dessert, it can add many extra calories to your meal — even if you're already feeling full after the main course.

Physiologically, calories don't count for more at night.

You won't gain weight by merely eating later if you eat within your daily calorie needs.

Still, studies show that nighttime eaters typically make poorer food choices and eat more calories, which can lead to weight gain.

Creamy, sweet, cold and refreshing, ice cream contains some protein and calcium; it also contains a large amount of fat and sugar, which drives up the calorie content of the treat.

Because of that, ice cream is definitely a food that makes you gain weight it you eat too much of it.
