The reason so many people are moving out of California and into other states is because of the extremely high cost of living and the regulations and laws as well as the wildfires.

Living in California costs a fortune and if you're making $8,000.00 per month to $10,000.00 per month in California you're barely making it and likely living paycheck to paycheck.

But if you were making $8,000.00 to $10,000.00 per month in other places such as Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas etc then you would be doing good and be considered wealthy.

California has high taxes, high income taxes, high property taxes, high housing costs, high vehicle registration costs etc.

A lot of California Streets are also getting run down and dangerous even for kids to play on.

Drug users are hanging out shooting up needles etc.

California is really expensive to live in.

In fact California is so expensive to live in that a lot of people are moving out of California and moving to other states such as Kansas, Idaho, Delaware, Texas, Arkansas etc.

California was a nice place to live but California is getting so expensive to live and the income tax rate is too expensive as well.

If you work or make income in California they tax your income at least 50 percent.

So around 50 percent of your income goes to income taxes.

Also housing prices are expensive and so are real estate taxes.

A modest fixer upper home could cost you $150,000 to $200,000.00 and a nice home could cost you $400,000.00 to $500,0000.00

Then the real estate taxes can cost you $1,000.00 to $5,000.00 per month or more.

Not only the expensive part but California also has a lot of regulations such as smog checks on vehicles, and the wildfires are also getting out of control.

People are selling their homes in California and taking the profit and moving to cheaper states.

For example in Kansas you can get a nice home for $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 but in California the home you bought for that price would be a fixer upper.

California is hugely expensive to rent or buy a home and the real estate taxes and income taxes are out of sight.

Also the regulations and laws are too strict in California so many people are moving out of California to live cheaper and get away from those high taxes and high cost of living.

I heard that in California there's a U Haul Shortage because so many people are leaving California and moving to other states with more affordable housing and taxes.

Greetings, Moving gets harder every time, and sometimes you don't want to spend a lot of money on it, particularly when moving a great distance. The advice I read on the link was useful to me and assisted me to save money, thus it was an excellent source of advice.
