The spinal level of the spinal cord that controls the bladder is the Sacral Spinal Cord.

The lowest part of the spinal cord is the sacral spinal cord.

Your bladder function, bladder and bowel external sphincters, sexual functions including erections and ejaculation in men and responsiveness in women.

Back Pain, Back Injuries, Spinal Cord Injuries and even sciatica  can cause loss of bladder control.

Not everyone who has or gets sciatica experiences loss of bladder control but for some people loss of bladder control does happen when they have sciatica.

The loss of bladder control with sciatica may happen soon after the sciatica appears or even a year or so later.

Back Injuries and spinal cord injuries or just spine injuries can also loss of bladder control either partial loss of bladder control or even full loss of bladder control.

My brother got injured on a construction job and injured his spine and he has loss bladder control completely a few years later.

He was thankfully not paralyzed and is only urinary incontinent and he cannot hold his pee in at all so he has to wear adult diapers to keep from getting his pants wet.

He wears the tape on adult diapers as the pull on adult pull up diapers are not absorbent enough for him.

If you do need to wear diapers for urinary incontinence you should do so as it's better than wet pants.
