A 3 month old baby should have between 4 to 6 ounces of formula fed to them during a 24 hour period.

A general guideline is that a baby needs between 4 to 6 ounces of formula fed to them for during 24 hours between the ages of newborn to 6 to 8 months of age.

It's recommended to still feed the baby some formula for health and brain development after age 1 year old.

At 1 year old the baby needs around 8 ounces of formula until around 18 months.

Some babies stop drinking the formula after 1 year old but it's okay for the baby to continue to drink formula in a bottle or in a sippy cup past age 1 until age 2.

From 2 months to 6 months a baby may need 6 to 7 feedings in 24 hours.

If the baby is not hungry then they will refuse the breast or push the bottle away or move their head back and forth away from the bottles nipple when you put the bottle to their mouth.
