Yes most if not all airlines will allow you to take power tools or any other tools on the plane but only in your checked luggage that goes under the plane in the luggage portion of the airplane.

Check with your airline though to be sure exactly on if you can bring your power tools on the airplane in your checked luggage as it can vary from airline to airline.

However most airlines I've come across allow power tools to be brought onto the airplane in the checked luggage.

You just cannot bring the power tools onto the airplane in your carry on luggage but in the checked luggage it's usually just fine.

I've carried a cordless drill, drill bits and a circular saw as well as circular saw blades in my checked luggage after receiving them for a Christmas gift from family members.

I called the airline ahead of time before flying with them and asked and they said it was fine to bring those things with me on the airplane in my checked luggage.
