Yes soaking in a hot bath can help to relax your muscles and relieve tension in your muscles.

So if you have sore muscles the hot bath soaking can help your muscles recover and help to ease and eventually get rid of muscle pain and tension.

When my muscles are sore I soak in a hot bath and it makes my muscles less tense and I feel much better afterwards.

A good massage is also good for sore muscles and muscle recovery so going to a massage therapist and getting a massage as well as soaking in a hot bath can help your muscles recover.

Soaking in a hot tub for awhile is also another good option for helping with muscle recovery.

I love soaking in my hot tub as well as soaking in the bathtub when I have sore muscles and it helps a lot along with getting professional massages.
