Can winter cause nose bleeds?

Yes having nosebleeds in the wintertime is very common and usually nothing to be concerned about.

Nosebleeds occur most commonly in the wintertime due to the dry air that occurs during the wintertime.

Also when your inside your house or other building with heating on the air gets dried out and that dry air causes the blood vessels which are tiny in your nose to crack and then cause the bleeding of the nose.

You can use some Vaseline to keep your nostrils moist and prevent nosebleeds during the winter.

Also using a humidifier in your home to keep the air moist also helps with nosebleeds.
