A finish nailer needs at least 80 PSI from the air compressor to work properly.
90 PSI is also okay for a finish nailer but if the nails are going too far into the wood then you can set the PSI back to 80 PSI.
Most small air compressors will provide enough PSI for a finish nailer but for other air tools and larger air nailers you need more PSI and a larger air compressor.
