To store blueberry pie you should cover it with some plastic wrap and place the blueberry pie in the refrigerator.

When kept in the refrigerator the blueberry pie will last for 2 to 3 days before it goes bad.

You can also cover the blueberry pie with some wrap and also place the blueberry pie in the freezer and it will keep for around 3 to 4 months.

When baking pies it's best to freeze the pie before baking it which helps prevent a soggy bottom pie crust.

However if you want to keep the pies longer after baking them then you can still freeze the baked pie after baking although the texture of the pie can change.

Pies are best eaten and enjoyed freshly baked.

For best results, first bake the pie and then place it uncovered in the freezer.

Frozen, baked fruit pies will keep up to 4 months.

To freeze an unbaked pie, wrap pie tightly or place in a plastic freezer bag (as you would a baked pie).

Don't cut slits in the top crust.

Fruit pies freeze beautifully.

A frozen crust also shrinks less when baked than a freshly rolled crust, so it holds its shape in the oven.

In fact, filling and freezing a pie before baking it virtually eliminates the threat of a soggy bottom crust!

Homemade pies are a delicious dessert that can be prepared ahead of time, frozen and then baked when you want a very special dessert.

It is much better to freeze pumpkin and fruit pies before baking rather than after.

The texture of pies suffers substantially if frozen after baking.

Pie does go bad.

How long it takes a pie to go bad depends on the type of pie.

Some pies last longer than other pies.

Pies that contain milk and dairy will last for 2 to 4 days in the refrigerator or 6 months to a year in the freezer.

Pies that do not contain dairy usually last for 7 days to 14 days in the refrigerator and around 4 to 5 days at room temperature.

To keep pies longer keep them refrigerated which also helps keep bacteria from growing on them.

Or freeze the pies to make them last even longer.

Some pies can sit out at room temperature and some pies do need refrigerated.

If you make a pie or buy a pie and are gonna serve the pie or eat the pie the same day then it's okay to leave it out at room temperature.

But if the pie has any dairy or milk in it then the pie should be refrigerated if not eating it within a few hours.

If the pie smells bad or has mold on it then throw it out because eating the old pie could make you sick.
