When you begin potty training your toddler do it on a day when you're gonna be home and have nothing else to do since you'll be busy taking your toddler to the potty to get them to potty train.

Set a timer for 20 minutes and after that 20 minutes take your toddler into the bathroom and sit them on the toilet or the potty chair.

Make the toddler stay in the bathroom and on the potty or toilet until they go potty. You might have to stay in the bathroom for awhile before they potty so be prepared to not leave the bathroom for awhile. lol

After they go potty then set the timer for another 20 minutes and when that 20 minutes is up again take them to the potty again and repeat the process.

Eventually your toddler will get the idea and knowledge that when they feel the urge to urinate or poop that they should go to the toilet.

They'll be some urine accidents and poo accidents on the floor or in there pants but don't punish them for the accidents or make a big deal about it.

If they have an accident then just let them know that you're not mad but you hope they make it to the toilet next time.

When your toddler goes in the potty congratulate them and make a big deal about it. Toddlers love when they please their parents.
