Do you re change your kids diaper if they poop right after changing them?

I have a 13 month old son and although rare he does sometimes poop in his fresh diaper within about 5 minutes of changing him.

Do you change your kids diapers if they poop in them right after you've already changed them?

I usually wait for at least 45 minutes before doing another change because he'll need to pee during that time and I don't want to waste an absorbent diaper for just a little poop.

If he poops I'd wait at least 15 minutes after to be sure he finished pooping but I wouldn't leave it on longer than that.

I'd change him into a fresh diaper.
