How can I protect my mattress from urine when bed wetting?

I wet the bed and I wear disposable adult diapers for the bed wetting but sometimes the disposable diaper leaks out the sides when I sleep and gets my mattress wet with urine and I have to clean the urine out of the mattress.

What is the best way of preventing my mattress from getting soaked with urine?

You can buy those absorbent bed mat protectors from goodnites.

I think they're called goodnites bed mats. Walmart sells them and when they get wet you just throw them in the trash.

You can also buy a washable mattress protector that you put over your bed and it protects your mattress from urine and any other liquid spills and then you just place the mattress protector in the washing machine to clean it and then your bed will be dry.
