If someone is sued and can't pay what happens?

If someone is sued but can't pay the amount the person suing is awarded then how would the winner of the lawsuit get the money if the person doesn't have the money to pay?

 If somebody Suing you knows that you lack the funds, or insurance, to pay a judgment, they have an incentive to settle faster and for a lower amount instead of spending money to win a suit that they cannot collect on. ... Additionally, you will have to pay post judgment interest at a rate specified by the court.
