Can you drive a car with a bad wheel bearing?

My car has a bad wheel bearing but I can't afford to get it replaced right now. Is it okay to drive the car with the bad wheel bearing or will something bad happen if I continue to drive the car with the bad wheel bearing?

You could drive the car with a bad wheel bearing but I certainly would not recommend you do so.

A bad wheel bearing can eventually lock up on you and cause your wheel to break loose and fly down the highway and hit someone else and maybe kill them.

Or the wheel bearing could seize up on you and cause you to lose control of the vehicle and roll it. I would get a ride with someone else until you can get the money to get the wheel bearing replaced.
