If your wood stove pipes aren't sealed properly and the wood stove isn't drafting properly then yes the wood stove can leak carbon monoxide back into your house which can be deadly.

Make sure your wood stove chimney is cleaned yearly and that the wood is drafting right and not blowing smoke back into your home.

Get a wind cap for your wood stove chimney to prevent wood stove smoking back inside your house.
