What matters more the amount of calories you eat or what you eat?

If you're talking about what to eat to lose weight then it's more the calories you should watch your intake on.
The less calories you take in the better you will lose weight. But if you take in more calories you'll need to exercise to burn those excess calories off to lose weight.
