When you have a fever and are chilly should you cover yourself up?

When you have the chills and a fever should you cover your body with blankets to keep warm?

What about putting an electric space heater near you to warm you up when you have cold chills?

I don't think covering yourself up does anything to rid yourself of the cold chills and flu but It does make you feel warmer.

I always cover myself up and point an electric space heater at my body to make my body feel warmer.
