It's recommended to replace a fuel filter at least every 20,000 to 40,000 miles but some can go as high as 100,000 miles before needing to be replaced.
Your owners manual should specify what they recommend for when to change the fuel filter. But there really is no problem going for as long as 100,000 miles before replacing the fuel filter.
