I have a cheap coffee maker I gave $15.00 for a couple years ago new. It's made lots of coffee but now it quit working today.

It lasted me 2 years. Is this a typical lifespan for these cheap machines?

I'd say it probably depends on the amount of usage the coffee maker gets. The more one uses it the lifespan will go down.

I make about one pot of coffee everyday and sometimes I don't even make coffee so sometimes the coffee maker doesn't come on.

Mine usually last 4 years. My mom has one that is 15 years old and still working good.

But even 2 years of constant usage isn't a bad lifespan for cheapo coffee maker.
