When do you turn on your heat?

It's October and supposed to be a bit chilly tonight but I'm reluctant to turn on the heat right now to save money.

I'm hoping to hold out until November 1st at the latest.

Do you have a certain date you wait to until you turn your heat on or do you just turn the heat on when it gets chilly?

I turn the heat on when I get cold. Especially when my fingers start to get cold.

Like right now the temperature outside is 51F but the temperature is supposed to go down to 38F tonight.

Even though 51F isn't freezing out I still feel uncomfortable at that temp and I decided to turn my little space heater on.

I have the little space heater sitting on a table next to my desk and I'm using it to raise the temperature in my living room.

I also have a wood stove that I primarily heat with but will wait to light the wood stove until it really gets cold like in November.

I have no set date to turn my heating on I turn the heat on when I'm feeling cold.

I hated to have to turn the electric space heater on right now but I also hate being cold.

I don't go by a set date. I turn my heater on when it gets too cold in the house for my liking.

Usually once it's 40F outside the house is usually cold and I'm ready to turn my heater on.

I like to be comfortable in my house.

It's 39 F out right now and I have my heating going. It won't have to be on long though since it's supposed to get to 70F today.

I turn my heat on when I get cold.
