Yes you can add protein powder to your smoothie but don't add too much protein powder to your smoothie as it will affect the taste of the smoothie.

By adding foods that naturally have protein like nut butters or cow’s milk. If you want it to be more of a green drink you can add vegetables with protein, like spinach or hummos, although you may want to add flavor in with fruit.
