Do cops get paid to write tickets to people?

Someone once told me that every time a cop writes out a ticket they get paid a percentage of money that the ticket is for?

Is it true that cops get a payout when they write tickets?

Yes they do. Cops are set a quota that they much reach in writing tickets.

Believe it or not cops might also get fired or lose their job if they don't meet their quota for writing tickets.

And they do "at least in some police departments" receive a commission on each ticket they write.

Sometimes yes, Because I paid cops for writing tickets but many times they do not accept money. I read all the rules of cops if you want to look at this link and enjoy all the rules of cops departments.
