If your furnace is a natural gas or propane furnace then yes it can leak carbon monoxide if the vents exhaust vents are obstructed or the furnace is burnt out and/or rusted.

You should install a carbon monoxide detector in your house and make sure it's operating correctly.

Any heating appliance that runs off natural gas or propane can produce carbon monoxide.
Carbon Monoxide is a silent killer.

Make sure you get your furnace tuned up and inspected to prevent deadly carbon monoxide buildup.
