My brakes on my car have started to make a constant squealing noise while driving down the road?

Is there something wrong with my brakes?

Cars brakes have a little piece of metal that rubs against the rotors when the brake pads are worn down enough to need replaced.

It's a safety indicator that shouldn't be ignored although a lot of people do.

That's most likely the cause of a squealing noise in brakes. You should take your car to a mechanic and have them check over the brakes.

Some places will do a free brake inspection.
