Why does paypal keep declining my debit card?

I'm trying to purchase something online and the seller only accepts paypal.

I keep trying to pay for the item through Paypal using my debit card and it keeps declining it.

I know the card has the money in it and it's a valid debit card and I used this debit card with paypal before and it worked okay.

But now it's declining the debit card?

It might just be a server error between paypal and your bank.

I've had my debit card declined on paypal before and I just waited it out and then a few hours later it went through.

If it still doesn't go through then contact your bank to find out if your debit card is not working properly on there end.

There's also been instances where I've taken my debit card to a bank to get money out and it declined but I went to another bank and it worked.

So it could just be server or problem that is temporary with the card.
