What is the best way to kill an armadillo?

My mom has this armadillo that is getting into her garden shed and is tearing things up.

She tried trapping it and releasing it elsewhere but the armadillo seems to smart to go into the trap.

What is the best way to kill this Armadillo as it's getting to be a nuisance for her.

Will rat poison kill an armadillo?

If you want to kill the armadillo you'll most likely have to shoot it with a gun.

If you don't know how to handle a gun then don't do it.

Best bet is to get a hold of an exterminator and pay them to remove it. They might be able to trap it and then release it away from your house.
