Now that it's the year 2017 going on 2018 is it still safe to use windows XP operating system?

I still have a desktop computer running the windows XP operating system and wondering if I should pony up the money for a new computer with new operating system or is it still okay to stick with my current windows XP operating system?

Windows XP operating system is no longer supported so you might not be able to install new versions of browsers etc or security software.

But as long as you avoid suspicious websites you should be okay to use windows XP until your computer actually dies.

I actually prefer the simple aspects of the Windows XP operating system over the newer operating systems anyway.

Wish they would still support it but that's okay.

It's safe. As long as you're safe doing the internet browsing and watch what sites you go on.

I still use windows XP and haven't had any security problems with it.
