How do prisoners deal with the monotony of serving long term prison sentences like 25 years or longer or even deal with having to spend the rest of their lives behind a razor wired fence and inside a building that they can never leave for all those years?

I go insane if I can't get out of my house due to bad weather for awhile. I doubt I could last even a week locked up in prison.

How do people not go insane while stuck behind prison bars for decades or even their who life?

I'm sure they do go insane especially those locked up in solitary confinement for decades.

If a prisoner tells you that it's not bothering them to be locked up for years and not have any freedom then they're lying which they have too to stay safe in prison.

Showing weakness or emotion is a good way to get harmed or killed in prison.

I know I'd be bothered by being locked up in prison for decades even if I didn't tell or show it.
