My chrome browser keeps lagging and slowing down unresponsive pages

I'm using chrome browser and I only have 2 tabs open. My chrome browser has started to slow down and pages get unresponsive.

When I try to scroll down a webpage the scroll bar lags and takes forever to move?

What is causing my chrome browser to lag and slow down and have unresponsive pages?

Your javascript your flash player version might be outdated. Check your flash player version and java to be sure they're up to date.

Another thing you can do is try restarting your computer. Restarting your computer sometimes fixes the cached memory and speeds up the computer.

Make sure you have the latest version of your browser as that could be the problem as well.

If none of that is the problem then it possibly could be a virus on your computer slowing it down.
