How long did it take or does it take to earn a full time income from your website?

I'm earning money from my website but not enough to live off of yet. How long did it take you to earn a full time income from your websites or how long should I expect it to take before I can quit my job for Adsense or other online income from my website?

I'm earning around $300.00 per month from my 5 year old blog. I was barely earning anything when I first started it and for the first few years.

Expect it to take a half decade or 5 years at least to start earning some money but to earn a full time income you would probably have to wait for a decade or 10 years at least.

But your results may vary. Some blogs don't earn anything at all if they don't work at it.
