Ever have the shoplifting Alarm go off on you?

I just went through the shoplifter alarm at walmart today and it went off. No I didn't steal anything. All my items were paid for but the strip wasn't properly deactivated or something.

The lady at the door was able to get the strip to stop the alarm going off and I was able to go through the alarm without it going off again.

Anyone else experience this?

Yes I have. I was at a home depot carrying some stuff through the door after paying and the darn thing went off.

The cashier re scanned everything and it still went off and finally he just told me to go on through as he knew I paid for everything.

It happens although it's very embarrassing.
