That happens to me too if I don't pause the video before closing the tab. I never could figure out how to get it to stop so I just pause the video now before closing the tab.
The sound did eventually go away once the video actually finished. So that may be what you'll have to do.
Just mute your sound for awhile and wait for the video to finish or just restart your browser.
